Guddu ki gun hai is a 2006 India drama film written by Arshad Ali and produced by T-Series Studios India Ltd. It was directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Zayed Khan , Riteish Deshmukh, Aditya Pancholi and Karthik Kumar. It is the sequel to the 2005 film "Guddu".The story is about two childhood friends Guddu (Saif Ali Khan) and Tina (Kareena Kapoor). On their graduation day they face off in a fight to the death. While Tina wins she makes this very grave mistake of sparing Guddu's life. The film follows both of them as they train to finish each other off so that one of them can live. However, their two respective love-interests (Kareena Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh) make things complicated.

As she is about to finish him off, she hesitates and spares his life. Guddu leaves in disgrace to start a new life under a different name. Meanwhile, Tina trains in order to finish Guddu off once and for all!
The soundtrack of "Guddu Ki Gun hai" is composed by Sanjeev Dutta. The lyrics were written by Arshad Ali and Indeevar has penned the song "Kya Naam Mera Hai" which appears at the beginning of the film. It has six songs, all of which were successful. The soundtrack is an important part of the film as it marks the debut of Bollywood "Diljit Dosanjh" as a singer. He renders some excellent singing in some romantic songs that are always popular on Indian radio stations. It won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer (2006).
